A few minor updates to the website

Recently, some of the text on these pages were replaced with hovering tooltips. This tidies things up a bit, visially. I just hope that the tooltips display properly for everyone.

iPad Mini for sale

Please check the For Sale page. I just added an iPad mini 16GB WIFI/Cell for $75. It needed a major frame straightening and new digitizer glass. All working well and with a good battery and system reset. Ready to add to an apple account.

Back from vacation

I'm back in town and can fix things again.

iPhone 8/8+/X parts are becoming more available

I can get several parts for 8/8 Plus and X phones now. Screens, batteries, rear glass and rear case, cameras & lenses, speakers, charger ports, etc.
Prices for some of these parts are also dropping since they are becoming more readily available. I imagine that when the iPhone 9 is released, prices for 7 parts will become very cheap and parts for the 8 series will become plentiful and even more affordable.

Prices as of July 8. iPhone 7 prices have lowered a it since then.

New iPhone 8 parts now available

My vendor now has cameras, both front and rear, available for the iPhone 8, and charger ports for both the 8 and 8 Plus.

iPhone 8 screens

I have found some sources for iPhone 8 screen adhesive/seal water-resistant gaskets. Also, iPhone 8 screen prices have come down a bit over the last few months. I do not offer any guarantee on the water-resistant gasket, but at least these repairs are becoming available.

Updated the contact info page...

After receiving some customer feedback, I realized that I needed better info on my 'Contact Information' page. There is now some information as to how to bring devices to me for repair. Since I have no storefront, that was not obvious.

Updated prices for some screens and batteries

Some battery and screen replacement prices were updated on the services page. Some screens came down a bit in price while some went up a bit.

Car troubles :(

My poor car is ill and might not be better for a while. Therefore, I cannot make on-site appointments unless they are in Mendocino and within reasonable walking distance for me. I have no idea when I'll have reliable transportation again. :(

New logo design

I decided to change the business logo. The current changes are likely to be temporary as I refine it and try new ideas. The change was prompted by a few factors, but the main one is potential copyright infringement. I kept having déjà vu with the original logo design until I recently printed a test page on one of my printers. I had ripped off the CUPS (Common Unix Printing System) logo.
A few years ago, this wouldn't have bothered me too much but I still would have changed it. But, a while back, CUPS was acquired by one of the richest corporations on the planet.
So, I changed the logo in a rather hurried manner.
Plus, the old font was boring.
